This series (much like my Animalia Series) has been created in the in-between. In between diaper changes and feedings, between work and lunch, during nap time and bedtime, between awake and sleep. 5 minutes here and 10 minutes there–tends to add up. These are simple paintings of something that revolves around us each day and night. The moon, held tight to the earth’s gravitational pull, continuously falling and never getting any closer to Earth. The moon, which sits so lovely in the sky, mostly at night, sometimes in the daytime, and holds our wonder. So many iterations of the moon can happen in one night, at one time, from different perspectives and orientations. The moon is a wondrous thing, no matter your age.
