The Nocturnes came about as a natural progression from my Animalia drawings (which I’m still working through!). The watercolor skies took on a life of their own as I was creating them which gives them a layer of magic that is unachievable with solely pencil. They are all 8x10 and live nicely together as a series, as well as on their own. In each series of the three animals, the fox, the bunny and the owl, one animal holds the full moon. These tranquil nighttime scenes are ready to take flight and perch on your own wall, watching over you and making sure that you remember the things that matter most in your life.
